The 7 Stages of Being a Drunk Girl, According to Chris D'Elia

By now, you've probably seen comedian, Chris D'Elia's hilarious, yet true re-enactment of being a drunk girl, aka #DrunkMess. Ladies, I think we can all agree that he was pretty spot-on, but if you're still not convinced, here are the 8 stages of being a drunk girl, according to the funnyman himself.

1) Uh... excuse me?

Nine shots may equal too many, but we haven't reached the "making a fool of ourselves" stage until this happens...

2) We become a hot-ass version of Voltron

Sure, our powers combined does make us as powerful as Voltron. After all, we're able to flirt, get free drinks, gag mid-way during a conversation and you still want to take us home. #Winning.

But why be Voltron if we could just become Beyonce? She's just as powerful and fabulous.

3) Hellz yes we made it. We're now Voltron and Beyonce combined, how could we not have made it? You do the math.

4) Occasionally our speech slurs and we make no sense, but you know what? It doesn't even matter.

5) And yes, we may gag, but at least we've got the balls to still carry on the conversation.

6) Oh yeah, in addition to being Beyonce, when our jam comes on, we also become Rihanna. Talk about fierce.

7) But no night of being a drunk girl is complete without ending it at the drive-thru. Number 7, please.

Watch out, boys, cause' at the end of the day, drunk messes or not, we're still fierce a$$ bitches.

And in case you haven't seen the video, here it is:

Don't Wait to Save the Relationship Lessons for Your Next Relationship

Relationship's aren't easy, and it's something that we all either realize before or during the relationship. At some point, problems will arise and although annoying, these are crucial lessons that can translate to help us in all areas of our lives. But if you find yourself giving up the fight, realizing the mistake and saying to yourself, 'I'll be sure to not do that in my next relationship," read on to find out if you can fix the problem or if it really is too little too late.

If you know the solution, try and fix it

If you're sitting there with the answers in the palm of your hand, why not try it out on your current relationship? Things may be awkward or tense, but if you love the guy, you owe it to the both of you to try and come up with a common-ground solution.

Communication is key

Most problems in relationships arise due to miscommunication. Maybe you're not saying how you really feel about him choosing his friends over you, or perhaps there is unsaid resentment towards something he didwhatever it is, you need to be open in sharing how you feel. Nothing will get solved until you both speak up.

Know when the relationship really is over

When a relationship is going through a rough patch, a couple is likely to fight a lot. But, when the relationship is truly near-over, fighting becomes exhausting and both partners simply don't have the energy to bother anymore. If you're at this point, recognize it, talk about it and decide where to go from there.

Product Must Try: Fullips Lip Enhancers

Lips like hers are only seconds away
As a total beauty junkie who has always longed for luscious lips like Angelina Jolie, I was ecstatic to find a new lip enhancing product that was tested by my favourite magazine, Cosmopolitan during their 'Beauty or Bullshit' YouTube segment.

I had read about their stellar customer service online, but was still blown away by the attentiveness that the owner, Linda, put into my order. Not only did she include a handwritten note, explaining the product and including her personal phone number in case I had any problems, she also included a free oval lip enhancer and an exfoliating toothbrush.

So, if you want natural, plump lips that will have you turning heads for all the right reasons, then keep reading.

This is the enhancer that I ordered, it's perfect for those who already have fuller lips
How to use it:

Start by cleaning and exfoliating your lips with water and a toothbrush. Next, you want to place the enhancer over your lip area and begin inhaling short puffs of air, which will create the suction. You should feel a good amount of suction (release if it hurts, it shouldn't be painful), then you want to simply allow your lips to relax, hold for about 15-30 seconds and then use your finger to break the suction. Repeat this a few more times until your desired fullness is set. Don't overuse the product though, it can lead to bruising or swelling.

This product is super small, making it the perfect accessory for your makeup bag. I highly recommend this product and although the company is new, I know that this product will soon become a staple in every girl's makeup bags.

Here's a great video that will give you a step-by-step approach:

Stop Wasting Time and Go After the Life You've Always Wanted

As I get older, I become much more attuned to the fact that life is picking up the pace. Three years ago, I started my university degree and now, I'm entering into my last year. Time truly does fly, and it's been a useful lesson to me that we really need to appreciate life and stop wasting time. When I was growing up, all throughout elementary school and high school, I wished so badly for time to fly so that I could be older and more in charge of my life. But now that I'm here, it's scary, confusing and not as fun as I thought it would be. We drift apart from our childhood friends, have a dwindling back account and most of our hopes and dreams are pushed to the side thanks to settling for a paycheque and working the nine to five.

Movies, reality television and other entertainment platforms are another element of how I realized how much time I was wasting in my life. I've been constantly waiting for my "movie moment." By that, I mean that part in the movie where the main characters gets their life together while a happy-go-lucky song plays in the background. Think of the movie Bridesmaids where the main character, Annie, starts taking charge of her "shitty" life by baking again and trying to get back together with her love interest.

Life is not like that, though - that two hour movie ends and you're back in reality, where your head should have been all along.

Living your life through others is not ideal, yet so many of us do it. You won't get the life that you've always dreamed of by watching others through a television screen. So, my pledge is to screw waiting for my movie moment and rather, go out and get it. Follow your passions, listen to your gut, stick to your heart and what it wants and go after life. We only have one shot, and why look back and regret the things you didn't do?
